Collage of fashion items, clothing, and people in various settings. Circular fashion redefined.

Why We Make Fashion That Refuses to Stay Invisible?

No More Nobody began as a deeply personal response to an industry that so often forgets its people - and its impact.

Silva Hrabar-Owens, our founder, is a designer, storyteller, and rebel at heart. Raised in Eastern Europe, Silva’s childhood was influenced by war, the legacy of communism and women’s stitching circles. She saw from an early age how women’s labour was both powerful and invisible. Later, working in fashion and social change, she became determined to reclaim that invisibility - not just in words, but in action.

During a time of personal transformation, Silva began stitching together a new vision: one where fabrics were reclaimed, not wasted, and where the people behind the clothes were celebrated, not erased. That idea became No More Nobody - a fashion brand rooted in community, circularity, and care.

“This brand gave me purpose when I needed it most. I want every woman who wears our pieces to feel that same sense of power - of being seen, valued, and proud of what they carry on their shoulders.” - Silva, Founder of No More Nobody

Why No More Nobody?

The name reflects our mission: no more invisibility. No more extractive systems. No more beautiful things built on silent suffering. Just bold, beautiful fashion - made with and for women whose stories deserve the spotlight.

Silva works closely with women-led social enterprises and ethical makers around the world. Every piece is co-created, often named after the woman who helped make it. From Habiba’s blouse to The Michelle Dress, our collections are stitched with memory and meaning.

What started with reclaimed fabric and one determined woman is now a growing collective - of designers, makers, and wearers who believe in beauty that uplifts, not undermines.

From forgotten to reimagined. From nobody to no more.

This is fashion, remade - by Silva, and by everyone who joins her in reclaiming what matters.

Our story is about reclaiming power - from the margins to the mainstream.

No More Nobody was born from a simple but radical idea: what if fashion gave voice to the forgotten?

We work with women who’ve been overlooked, with materials others have thrown away, and with communities that are rebuilding futures - one stitch at a time. We make design-led clothes with a conscience: made to be seen, worn, and cherished.

Our founder Silva started this brand as a form of resistance. Against fast fashion. Against faceless supply chains. Against the idea that sustainability should be soft or compromising.

This is bold fashion made responsibly. And we’re just getting started.
